Our mission
Every modern website needs analytics to grow, but the dominant tools turn visitor data into a feedstock for advertising and into a long chain of third-party processors. We started 9ping Analytics to prove that serious web analytics can be self-hostable, privacy-first, and free, without giving anything up on capability.
Our north star is simple: you should be able to understand your traffic in minutes, on your server, in your language, without having to apologise to your visitors for the trade-off.
Principles we hold
Data ownership is non-negotiable. The instance lives on your server, the database is yours, exports are first-class, and nothing is shipped to a central service for any purpose.
Privacy is the default, not a paid upgrade. IPs are anonymised, advertising cookies are not used, fingerprinting is not used, and named bots are kept separate from human stats.
Security is enforced, not optional. Two-step verification is mandatory for every dashboard account; passwords and recovery codes are stored as hashes; every request goes through a strict Content Security Policy.
Honest copy. We will not invent customer logos, fake star ratings, or claims our software does not yet do. If something is a sample rather than a full server log, we say so.
The product today
9ping Analytics ships real-time visitor reporting, traffic sources and search keywords, page and journey analytics, audience breakdowns, page performance signals, a dedicated search-engine crawler analytics page, real local-database geolocation, a custom events API, an Open API with bulk site-group deploy, and a polished dashboard in 10 languages with full dark mode.
Everything is built on a single, clean Windows or Linux stack with PHP and SQLite. There are no microservices to wire together and no proprietary clouds you have to opt into. If you can host a static site, you can host 9ping Analytics.
